| Salazar Architects has a mission to create contemporary and contextually responsive buildings that are affordable, ecological and empowering. We focus on multi-family housing and urban design projects, including new construction, renovations and community planning. With over 18 years of experience, we have worked with dozens of non-profit and for-profit developers, public agencies and community groups on projects of all types: from individual buildings to large-scale neighborhood developments. We are especially skilled in the design of HUD and Tax Credit funded affordable housing that contributes to creating vibrant, diverse and socially just neighborhoods. Salazar Architects is a registered LBE / SBE firm based in San Francisco, with a branch office in Washington DC. Our clients include non-profit developers, for-profits, public agencies and community based organizations, as well as other architecture firms.
