Alex Salazar, AIA Alex Salazar is a licensed architect with extensive experience in affordable housing, including new construction, renovations and community planning efforts. He has designed and managed dozens of projects including: HUD and Tax Credit funded housing, Market Rate Condos and University Residence Halls. His work has been recognized by the American Institute of Architects for its contribution to the affordable housing field, winning both AIA San Francisco’s 2009 Young Architect Award and AIA California’s 2008 Community Housing Assistance Honor Award. Alex is passionate about affordable housing, has served on the boards of non-profit organizations, and occasionally teaches and writes about the community development field. |
