Paul Conrad

Early in his architecture education, Paul was introduced to affordable housing design and the value of authentic community processes. This experience had a profound impact on how he views himself as a designer, and helped shape his career direction toward public interest design. As a lifelong Portland resident who cares deeply about the impacts of development and the types of housing we build, Paul joined Salazar to participate in projects that are both community led and mission driven. He is a leader of our Community Design Lab, helping to shape our community processes, and has project experience in numerous affordable housing developments including mixed-use and occupied renovations.
