Salazar Architects would like to welcome our newest member, Russell 'Ski' Wisniewski! Ski is a member of the American Institute of Architects and has over 7 years of experience in the building and construction industry including multi-family housing, commercial and senior living developments. Ski has a wide range of experience in addition to building and construction. After serving in the Navy, he transitioned into a civilian life dedicated to the service of others through public interest architecture. He is passionate about people, design and the power that architecture has to affect change. Ski holds a Bachelor of Science in Design in Architectural Studies from Arizona State University, and a Master of Architecture from Portland State University (PSU). He also earned a Graduate Certificate in Public Interest Design while at PSU. In addition to working at Salazar Architect, he is also volunteering with Right 2 Dream Too, a low-barrier shelter and nonprofit organization, which advocates for the unhoused community in Portland. Ski has been helping coordinate the shelter's move with the city to their current location and site planning for their future.
