Updated: Jul 31, 2019
We are happy to announce that Matt Bokar has joined Salazar Architect!. Matt has eleven years of experience in multifamily housing, including affordable family, mixed-use market-rate, student, senior, special needs, occupied rehab, and site planning. He has served on the Board of Directors for two nonprofit organizations and has been a volunteer project manager for Architecture for Humanity and Habitat for Humanity. Matt has managed projects through all phases, coordinating design, construction documentation, permitting, and construction. He strives to develop strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and agencies, and has deep experience with participatory design in a wide range of communities. Matt believes that transit-oriented mixed-use development makes our cities more livable; high-quality housing provides people with the security to focus on family, education, health, work and community; design should be innovative, contextual, durable, sustainable, and honest; and bikes are the best way to get around.
