Kayla Anderson joins Salazar Architect

We are happy to announce that Kayla Anderson has joined Salazar Architect! Kayla has experience in sustainability, design-build, and graphic design. As a graduate student at PSU, she was a member of the Green Building Scholars Program and participated in the diversion design-build Pickathon project, in collaboration with The City of Portland, which earned the Gray Design For Good Award and the AIA Small Projects Award. In addition to being recognized for Pickathon, her Thesis work, which included a robust community design process, earned her the George Nakashima design-build Award. Kayla is interested in the intersection between architecture and graphic design and is bringing those skills to the firm’s ongoing marketing and design work. She holds a BS in Architecture with a Minor in Sustainability, and a Master of Architecture degree from Portland State University.
